I'm Reza Peyman Amiri, a final-year Computer Science student and Full-Stack Software Developer with hands-on experience building modern, scalable, and user-focused software applications. I work across the full development lifecycle — from designing responsive user interfaces and building backend services to developing mobile applications for Android and iOS. I enjoy solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and turning ideas into reliable, production-ready products.
My primary focus is on modern web development, backend engineering, mobile development, cloud technologies, and AI-powered applications.

Technology evolves quickly, so I continuously explore new frameworks, tools, architectures, and AI technologies to improve the way I build software.
I enjoy understanding the entire system — from the interface a user interacts with to the APIs, databases, infrastructure, and services running behind it.
AI is a powerful development tool, but I believe developers should understand, review, test, and take responsibility for the code they ship.

A retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) app that lets teams query private documents in natural language, with source citations and a multi-step agent workflow for follow-up tasks.
A React Native app for field teams to log tasks offline and sync with a Go backend, with role-based auth and real-time status updates.
An AI-powered Persian price comparison platform that searches multiple Iranian online stores, aggregates and normalizes product data, compares prices and availability, and helps users find the best available offer.

On full-stack development, backend engineering, and building real things with AI.
AI can write code faster than I ever could, but that doesn't mean I should stop understanding it. In an age where generating software is becoming easier, engineering judgment matters more than ever. Here's why I still read every line AI writes for me—and why I believe developers should never outsource their understanding.
Modern software development makes it easy to focus on screens, components, and features—but the real engineering happens beneath the interface. In this article, I explore why developers should think in systems: understanding data flows, dependencies, failure modes, feedback loops, scalability, and the long-term behavior of the software they build. Because a screen is only the surface; the system behind it is what makes software reliable.
Building my first RAG pipeline taught me that successful AI applications depend on much more than choosing a powerful LLM. From document chunking and embeddings to retrieval quality and evaluation, every stage affects the final answer. These are the practical lessons I learned while turning a simple RAG prototype into a more reliable AI system.
